1. Pope Francis has decreed a special Holy Year for the Gulf countries to mark 1500 years since the death of the martyrs of Najran in Saudi Arabia. The relics of the martyrs are being placed in our cathedral. The Holy Year will open on Thursday, November 9. Evening Prayer will be at 6 p.m., followed by Mass at 7 p.m. and Opening of the Holy Door and Shrine at 8 p.m. You are invited to participate in this unique event in our parish.
2. During the Holy Year, those who make a pilgrimage to the Holy Door and shrine can receive a plenary indulgence. Pilgrimage Booklets and Holy Cards can be obtained from the Parish Office. Every Saturday at 4 p.m. there will be special prayers, novena and blessing with the relics of the martyrs, followed by Mass at 4:30 p.m. Details are on our parish website.

3. St. Joseph's School is organizing a Students Fair today from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The event is a student initiative to support the school's educational programs and projects. Please patronize and support the students by visiting the stalls near the stage.
4. There will be no 9:00 a.m. mass and no confessions from 06th to 09th November (Monday to Thursday), due to the Priests’ Annual Retreat. Please keep all the priests of our vicariate in your prayers.
5. Teens United for Faith Retreat will be held on November 11th and 12th at St. Mary’s Private High School RAK. We encourage all Teens to make use of this opportunity. The registration link is on our church website.

7. Seminar for adults who have not yet received the Sacrament of Confirmation will be held from 20 to 24 November. Registration, requirements and details are available on our church website. The last day for registration is November 10.

The Vicariate Family Ministry invites all families, to an adventure-filled evening themed “Together: Connecting Hearts & Bonding Families,” It will be on Saturday 18th Nov 2023, at St Joseph’s Cathedral from 6:00 pm onwards, followed by fellowship dinner.
