Announcements (24-25 February 2024)

1. All are invited to the Parish Lenten Retreat, preached by Fr. Augustine Valooran from 6th to 9th March, Wednesday to Saturday, right after the 7:00 pm Mass. Let us pray and prepare for the retreat.

2. Stations of the Cross will be on all Fridays during Lent at 6.00 pm. There will be NO Adoration on First Friday, 1st of March.

3. You are encouraged to get your Lenten Sacrifice Envelope at the church entrances and return it on or before Easter Sunday.

4. Lenten & Holy Week Schedule of Masses, Confessions, and services are available on our parish website.

5. 26th February, Monday, is the Solemnity of the Dedication of St. Joseph’s Cathedral. The 7:00 pm mass will be in the Cathedral.

6. Marriage Encounter invites all married couples to an in-person weekend. The weekend is on 1st to 3rd March in Abu Dhabi. For more details, please contact the numbers mentioned on the church website and banners.

7. Arabic Festival will be held on 3rd March, Sunday. Parishioners are invited to come and celebrate with the Arabic community.

8. The Family Ministry of St. Joseph Parish is organizing a Holy Mass for differently abled people and their families followed by a special program on Saturday, 9th March at 3 pm. Inviting all differently abled parishioners and their families to attend and be blessed.

9. There is a blood donation camp on 10th March, Sunday, from 11 am to 4 pm. Please donate blood and help to save a life. Also on the same day, there will be a free training on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (chest compressions) on the stage between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm. All are invited to make use of the opportunity and learn this life-saving measure.

10. Motorists and pedestrians are requested to take precautionary measures by observing the proper traffic rules and regulations upon entering the Church compound. We also ask for your support and cooperation to maintain harmony and peace in our place of worship to follow the guidance of our beloved ushers.

11. Church Calendar for 2024, Holy Year Pilgrimage Booklets, Holy Cards, St. Arethas Books, and Jubilee coins are now available. All parishioners are encouraged to get a copy. Holy Year novena to the martyrs followed by Mass takes place every Saturday at 4:00 p.m.
