Announcements (16-17 March 2024)

1. Next weekend we are celebrating Palm Sunday. Palms will be available in the church compound. 

2. The Holy Week Schedule of Masses is available on our parish website. 

3. Priests will be available for Confession on 20th, 21st and 22nd March (Wednesday, Thursday & Friday) from 6.00 pm till 9.00 pm. Parishioners are also encouraged to make full use of the daily confession times available.

4. To prepare for the feast of our Parish Patron, Saint Joseph, on March 16, 17, and 18 we will have special evening Mass and devotion. Each day there will be a special blessing: March 17 at 6:00 pm, blessing for the sick; on March 18th at 7:00 pm, blessing of images or pictures of St. Joseph. Parish Feast Mass and procession will be on March 19 at 7:00 pm by Bishop Paolo Martinelli.

5. In celebration of the feast, we request contributions for the needy in our community. You can contribute groceries such as rice, tea bags, sugar, milk powder, pulses, cooking oil, instant noodle packets and canned food or an Essential Box. Please drop them off in the tent at the entrance of St. Joseph’s Cathedral before Tuesday, March 19.

6. There will be no 9 am Mass on Wednesday, March 27, due to Chrism Mass at 11.00 am. All are invited to attend this Mass at which the Holy Oils are solemnly blessed.  

7. Jesus Youth is organizing a one-day gathering titled “Wake Up 2024" on 9th April, Tuesday. Interested youth may contact the Jesus Youth representatives in the church compound.

8. Parishioners willing to join the team to secure and organize the traffic on our church premises are invited to contact the parish office for information and registration.

9. On Holy Saturday, there is no morning Mass. Solemn Morning Prayer will be conducted at 6:15 a.m. All parishioners are invited.
