Announcements (09-10 March 2024)

1. The Blood donation camp and Cardiopulmonary resuscitation training scheduled on March 10, Sunday, are canceled due to the weather conditions.

2. On 11th March, Monday there will be no 9:00 am mass due to the Vicariate’s priest meeting

3. Lenten & Holy Week Schedule of Masses, Confessions, and services are available on our parish website. You are encouraged to get your Lenten Sacrifice Envelope at the church entrances and return it on or before Easter Sunday.

4. Priests will be available for Confession on 20th, 21st and 22nd March (Wednesday, Thursday & Friday) from 6.00 pm till 9.00 pm. Parishioners are encouraged to take the opportunity of the daily confessions available in the church prior to the scheduled community confessions.

5. To prepare for the feast of our Parish Patron, Saint Joseph, on March 16, 17, and 18 we will have special evening Mass and devotion. Each day there will be a special blessing: on March 16th at 7:00 pm, a blessing for husbands and fathers; on March 17th at 6:00 pm, a blessing for the sick; on March 18th at 7:00 pm, the blessing of images or pictures of St. Joseph. Parish Feast Mass and procession will be on March 19 at 7:00 pm by Bishop Paolo Martinelli.

6. In celebration of the feast, we request contributions for the needy in our community. You can contribute groceries such as rice, tea bags, sugar, milk powder, pulses, cooking oil, instant noodle packets, and canned food or an Essential Box. Please drop them off in the tent at the entrance of St. Joseph’s Cathedral from the 16th to the 18th of March 2024.

7. The Marriage Preparation Course in Malayalam starts on 11th March at 7.00 pm. 

8. Marriage Renewal Mass for March anniversaries will be celebrated on Monday, 11th March at 7:00 pm.

9. Parish Marriage Preparation Course in English will be on Friday, 15th March from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Saturday, 16th March from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Register online through the church website.

10. The parish of St. Joseph invites parishioners willing to join the team in securing and organizing the traffic on our church premises. Please contact the parish office for information and registration.
