Baptism

Parents who wish to have their children baptized may attend a Baptism Seminar conducted every first Wednesday of the month at 8pm. They may then register their children for Baptism by submitting the seminar participation certificate along with the couple’s marriage certificate obtained from the Church. If the child’s godparents do not belong to the parish, a letter must be submitted.
The Baptism ceremony is conducted every Thursday at 4.30pm. Parents are expected to report by 4.00pm.

Reconciliation

Priests are available for confession before, during and after services and on special request.

Holy Eucharist

Children who wish to receive Holy Communion must be enrolled for Catechism classes. Children complete their First Confession late in Grade 3 and receive their First Holy Communion in Grade 4.

The Sacrament of Confirmation is administered only to those who are enrolled for the Catechism classes. Preparations for Confirmation begin in Grade 7 and students receive the Sacrament of Confirmation usually during Pentecost which coincides with the end of Grade 8
